Kolekcionar vatrogasnog znakovlja

Zbog razvoja mjesta, poglavito na polju turizma i hotelijerstva, javlja se potreba za formiranjem profesionalne vatrogasne jedinice, i ona biva formirana 1984. PVJ djeluje na podrucju bivše Opcine Crikvenica, a operativnu postrojbu PVJ-a sacinjavaju vatrogasci DVD-a Crikvenica i Novi Vinodolski. Iz tog razloga javlja se potreba nadogradnje vatrogasnog spremista, te se 1987. godine otvara novi prosireni i nadograðeni vatrogasni dom. PVJ je rasformirana 1991. godine, a vatrozastitu na podrucju Grada Crikvenice preuzima DVD-Crikvenica, te zbog toga formira profesionalnu jezgru od pet clanova. U Gradu Crikvenici formira se Vatrogasna ispostava MUP-a s 01. 01. 1994. godine. Od tada, operativno djelovanje na podruèju Grada preuzima profesionalna postrojba MUP-a, koja je s 01. 01. 2000. godine preformirana u Javnu vatrogasnu postrojbu Grada Crikvenice. S time u vezi DVD Crikvenica svoj rad, uz ispomoc profesionalnoj postrojbi u vecim intervencijama, usmjerava na preventivno djelovanje ( rad s graðanima, ljetno dezurstvo i izvidjacka patrola podrucjem Grada ). Posebnu paznju DVD Crikvenica posvecuje radu s mladezi. Plod toga rada je pomladjivanje postrojbe DVD-a s clanovima mladezi formirane 1989. i 1998. godine. Ovdje valja istaci da DVD obucava tridesetak clanova zenske i muske mladezi formirane 2002. godine.

Since then, operational activity in the area of the City has been taken over by the professional unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which was reformed into the Public Fire Department of the City of Crikvenica on January 1, 2000. In this regard, DVD Crikvenica, with the help of the professional unit in major interventions, focuses its work on preventive action (work with citizens, summer patrol and scout patrol in the area of the city). DVD Crikvenica devotes special attention to work with youth. The fruit of this work is the rejuvenation of the DVD unit with youth members formed in 1989 and 1998. It should be noted here that DVD trains about thirty members of the female and male youth formed in 2002.
