In the sixty years of its existence, almost three hundred people have passed through the Society. Thanks to the love for firefighting that was passed from father to son in many Supetar families, there are frequent examples that almost all male members are members of the Society. DVD "Supetar" today has over a hundred members, of which about forty active firefighters are educated through their own training program in which much attention is paid to the education of young firefighters who with the help of professionals and more experienced members acquire knowledge and skills necessary to participate in all DVD activities. . In addition to the basic task of fire protection in the entire island, DVD Supetar has a very important role in the island community, paying special attention to work with children and youth education and humanitarian work
