Kolekcionar vatrogasnog znakovlja

Osnovano je 15. siječnja 1927. godine. Prilikom održavanja osnivačke skupštine u članstvo se upisuje 24 izvršujuća člana, 22 člana utemeljitelja i 3 podupirajuća člana. Organiziranjem zabava i prikupljanjem dobrovoljnih priloga sakuplja se novac za nabavu vatrogasnih sprava i opreme. Na prvoj redovnoj godišnjoj skupštini izabran je upravni odbor:

Nakon dvogodišnjeg rada prikupljeno je dovoljno sredstava tako da je nabavljen agregat sa 250 metara cijevi. Krajem 1929. godine izgrađeno je vatrogasno spremište. Kreće se u nabavci odora, i opreme. Društvo je pokretač raznih akcija u selo; izgradnja tvrdih cesta, bazena za vatrogasne i druge potrebe sela. Nabavljena su kola za prijevoz opreme i 8 vatrogasaca. Tokom 1934. godine u suradnji s društvom iz Ljudevit Sela osniva se Puhački orkestar koji broji 16 članova. Nakon toga osnovana je knjižnica i prikupljen veći broj knjiga, a djeluje i dramska sekcija. Provedena je edukacija članstva u društvu. Prosječan broj izvršujućih članova je oko 30, počasnih članova 3, i oko 60 članova utemeljitelja.Tijekom drugog svjetskog rata rad društva u potpunosti je prestao. Uništene su sve sprave, agregat je izvan funkcije, uništena je knjižnica, odore i neki instrumenti. Nakon rata okupljaju se članovi i obnavljaju rad društva vježbanjem, održavanjem zabava i prikupljanjem sredstava za popravak agregata i opreme. Narednih godina nabavljene su svečane bluze i odore, radne odore, te kola s buretom za prijevoz vode na mjesto požara. Obnovljen je rad puhačkog orkestra. Nabavljena je vatrogasna zastava koja je sačuvana do danas. Početkom 80-ih godina počinje aktivnije razdoblje. Društvu pristupa 21 član. Organiziranjem vrtnih zabava pokušava se doći do sredstava za obnovu opreme i podizanje kvalitete rada društva i iznalaženja motiva za rad. Nabavljena je traktorska cisterna za prijevoz vode Creina. Osposobljen je i agregat. 1981. godine 20 članova je položilo ispit za vatrogasca koji je održan u Gornjem Daruvaru. Na općinskom takmičenju vatrogasnih jedinica općine Daruvar 1982. godine, DVD Gornji Daruvar osvaja prvo mjesto. Time stječe pravo nastupa na višem nivou natjecanja na području zajednice općina Bjelovar, što članovima društva daje dodatni motiv za rad. Tokom 1984. godine 7 članova završava tečaj za dočasnike, nalaze se razni načini sakupljanja sredstava za cilj poboljšavanja operativne sposobnosti društva. Na poticaj društva 25 domaćinstava nabavlja protupožarne aparate, a samo društvo nabavlja ostalu opremu. U 1986. godini 4 člana položila su ispit za vatrogasnog časnika. Tokom iste godine izvršena je zamjena kompletnog krovišta i crijepa na vatrogasnom spremištu. Akcija je provedena u jednom danu (subota). Radilo je 19 članova i 9 pionira od 6 do 21 sat. Iduće godine nabavljeno je 12 penjačkih opasača i 12 zaštitnih kaciga, užad za samoizbavu od 15 i 30 metara, te nekoliko raznih mlaznica. Produbljuje se suradnja s okolnim društvima a u selu podupiru razne akcije. Uređenje poljskih putova, organiziranje dežurstava tokom žetvenih radova, uređenje unutrašnjosti spremišta, a članovi društva aktivno sudjeluju u radu vatrogasnog saveza općine.1992. godine nabavljamo rezervoar od 18 000 litara koji je tokom 1994. ukopan kod spremišta. 1996. godine 29 članova, od toga 8 djevojaka, položilo je vatrogasni ispit.
Iduće godine na svečanosti obljetnice gosti vatrogasci Kašave iz Češke republike pokreću suradnju koja se proširuje na Vatrogasnu zajednicu i Češku Besedu Gornji Daruvar. Nastavlja se i danas međusobnim posjećivanjem, posebno hodočašćem na SV Hostin povodom blagdana Sv. Florijana, koncem travnja u Češkoj. Danas pred spremište postavljamo kip Sv. Florijana, na domu kulture postavljena je električna sirena a i proširen je i novo betoniran bazen za vodu. Posjedujemo agregat 6/8 Rosenbauer (prerađen), agregat 8/8 Sora, cisternu Creina 2300 l, međumješalicu 200 l s opremom, A i B usisne cijevi, trodijelnu razdjelnicu, oko 300 m B i C tlačnih cijevi, mlaznice za tešku pjenu, monsum mlaznicu, univerzalne te obične sa zasunom. Prikolicu za prijevoz opreme i dio osobne opreme: 25 radnih kombinezona, preflam odijelo, 12 penjačkih opasača sa karabinom i sikiricom, užad za vezanje usisnih cijevi, tamičarske oznake, brentače, naprtnjaču i metlanicu, ručnu sirenu, ljestve kukače (2), užad (2), opremu za mladež od 6 - 12 godina.

After that, a library was established and a large number of books were collected, and a drama section is also active. Education of membership in the society was conducted. The average number of executive members is about 30, honorary members 3, and about 60 founding members. During the Second World War, the work of the society completely ceased. All devices were destroyed, the unit was out of order, the library, uniforms and some instruments were destroyed. After the war, members gather and renew the work of the society by practicing, holding parties and raising funds to repair units and equipment. In the following years, formal blouses and uniforms, work uniforms, and carts with a barrel for transporting water to the scene of the fire were procured. The work of the wind orchestra has been renewed. A fire flag was procured which has been preserved to this day. A more active period begins in the early 1980s. 21 members join the society. By organizing garden parties, attempts are made to raise funds for the renovation of equipment and raising the quality of society's work and finding motives for work. A Creina tractor water tanker was procured. The unit is also equipped. In 1981, 20 members passed the exam for firefighters, which was held in Gornji Daruvar. At the municipal competition of fire brigades of the municipality of Daruvar in 1982, DVD Gornji Daruvar won first place. This gives him the right to perform at a higher level of competition in the community of Bjelovar municipalities, which gives members of the society an additional motive to work. During 1984, 7 members completed a course for non-commissioned officers, there are various ways to raise funds to improve the operational capacity of the company. At the initiative of the company, 25 households procure fire extinguishers, and the company itself procures other equipment. In 1986, 4 members passed the fire officer exam. During the same year, the complete roof and tiles on the fire station were replaced. The action was carried out in one day (Saturday). There were 19 members and 9 pioneers from 6 am to 9 pm. The following year, 12 climbing belts and 12 protective helmets, 15 and 30 meter self-propelled ropes, and several different nozzles were procured. Cooperation with the surrounding societies is deepening and various actions are supported in the village. Arrangement of field roads, organization of duty during harvest works, arrangement of the interior of the storage, and members of the society actively participate in the work of the fire brigade of the municipality.1992. We are procuring a tank of 18,000 liters, which was buried near the storage in 1994. In 1996, 29 members, including 8 girls, passed the fire exam. Next year, at the anniversary ceremony, the guest firefighters of Kašava from the Czech Republic will start a cooperation that will be extended to the Fire Brigade and the Czech Beseda Gornji Daruvar. It continues today with mutual visits, especially the pilgrimage to St. Hostin on the occasion of the feast of St. Florian, in late April in the Czech Republic.
