VZO ŠANDROVAC
Vatrogasna zajednica općine Šandrovac osnovana je 1998. godine na inicijativu načelnika općine gosp. Josipa Dekalića i tadašnjeg predsjednika vatrogasne zajednice Županije Bjelovarsko-bilogorske gosp. Ivana Repa. Za predsjednika izabran je Ivan Zdelar, a za zapovjednika Stjepan Kežman. U zajednicu je udruženo šest DVD-a iz općine Šandrovac:
- DVD Šandrovac - društvo je osnovano 1928. godine
- DVD Jasenik - društvo je osnovano 1950. godine
- DVD Lasovac - društvo je osnovano 1954. godine
- DVD Pupelica - društvo je osnovano 1954. godine
- DVD Ravneš - društvo je osnovano 1977. godine
- DVD Kašljavac - društvo je osnovano 1981. godine
U trenutku osnivanja u zajednici ima 155 vatrogasaca. Broj ispitanih vatrogasaca je 78, dočasnika je 5, te tri viša vatrogasna časnika. Od opreme je naraspolaganju pet traktorskih vatrogasnih cisterni te vatrogasni agregat, s vrlo slabom dodatnom opremom. Kako bi pokrenuli aktivnosti koje su stale tijekom ratnih godina zajednica organizira takmićenje vatrogasaca u radu s vatrogasnom cisternom. Takmičenje se organizira pod pokroviteljstvom Općine Šandrovac. Uz pomoć općine Šandrovac i Vatrogasne zajednice županije Bjelovarsko-bilogorske 2003. godine kupuje se navalno vatrogasno vozilo marke Stayer. Vozilo je opremljeno pumpom visokog pritiska i prvo je takvo vozilo u županiji. Nabavom vozila dogodila se je prekretnica u radu vatrogasaca naše općine. Vozilo je prvo smješteno u selu Lasovac, a nakon izgradnje prostora seli se u Šandrovac. Godine 2006. osnovana je Interventna vatrogasna postrojba. Osnova postrojbe su članovi DVD-Šandrovac.

In order to start the activities that stopped during the war years, the community organizes a competition of firefighters in working with the fire tank. The competition is organized under the auspices of the Municipality of Šandrovac. With the help of the municipality of Šandrovac and the Bjelovar-Bilogora County Fire Brigade, a Stayer fire truck was purchased in 2003. The vehicle is equipped with a high pressure pump and is the first such vehicle in the county. The purchase of the vehicle marked a turning point in the work of the firefighters of our municipality. The vehicle was first located in the village of Lasovac, and after the construction of the space, it moved to Šandrovac. In 2006, the Intervention Fire Brigade was established. The basis of the unit are members of DVD-Sandrovac.
