Zbog velikog angažmana članova DVD-a i sudjelovanja na brojnim vježbama i intervencijama, Vatrogasna zajednica Grada Zagreba 1997. godine DVD-u dodjeljuje kombi vozilo TAM 80 s priručnom opremom. Vozilo je predao Predsjednik VZGZ g. Pavle Bonetti,a ključeve je preuzeo Predsjednik DVD-a Stjepan Cerovski.
The official founding assembly of DVD Dragonožec was held on May 16, 1954 at the Dragonožec elementary school. The rules of operation and the foundation of the Society with its full name: Voluntary Fire Company Dragonožec were adopted. During the work of the assembly, the regular administrative bodies of the Company were elected. Members who were elected president, commander, secretary and treasurer at the first pre-assembly meeting unanimously joined the Board of Directors. Josip Horvat Joža was elected deputy commander, Juraj Markulin, Josip Cerovski and Mato Horvat were elected to the Supervisory Board, and Franjo Cerovski and Šimun Cimeša were elected as delegates to the Sub-Association. On that occasion, the first new members were admitted to the Society: Mijo Brebrić, Juraj Markulin, Ivan Petravić and Stjepan Petravić. For the first fire station, a wooden house measuring 7x7 meters was purchased, and in mid-1962 it was placed in the then central part of the settlement (today next to the chapel). Today's fire station was built on March 13, 1983. The transportation of blocks, cement, lime, etc., was voluntary. Everything was done by hand: putting sand, cement and water into the mixer, carrying the blocks. However, the inspection soon stopped the construction. The warehouse was finally completed in the summer of 1985 with the installation of a roof. Voluntary fire brigade Dragonožec received its first fire engine in 1977 and it was a van Zastava 850. The fire brigade assigned the vehicle to the Fire Brigade of Zagreb, and the fire brigade assigned the vehicle to DVD Dragonožec. The delivery was made by Juraj Bedeković, and the vehicle was taken over by Vjekoslav Jancetić. The vehicle was in a faulty condition and DVD members repaired it with their own funds and prepared it for interventions. In 1986, the Dragonožec volunteer fire brigade received a TAM 5500 naval vehicle manufactured in 1969. The DVD was used with that storm vehicle for the next 20 years. Due to the great commitment of DVD members and their participation in numerous exercises and interventions, in 1997, the Fire Brigade of the City of Zagreb awarded DVD a TAM 80 van with auxiliary equipment. The vehicle was handed over by the President of VZGZ, Mr. Pavle Bonetti, and the keys were taken over by the President of DVD, Stjepan Cerovski.
