Kolekcionar vatrogasnog znakovlja

Dobrovoljno vatrogasno društvo Bubnjarci osnovano je 10.svibnja 1925. godine od strane seljana. Već 13.kolovoza društvo organizira svečanost u povodu Zavjere članova društva te poziva DVD Karlovac da u što većem broju pohodi svečanost i ponese svoj barjak da se pod njim zavjere članovi Društva. Za nagradu DVD Karlovac dobiva besplatnu željezničku kartu i južinu (prehranu). Kao vodeće društvo u kraju pokazuju svoju snagu 13.04.1930. u velikom požaru u susjednom selu Zaluki, opčina Ribnik kada se kod seljaka Jure Belanića zapalila kuća (vjerojatno kod loženja peči) a večina seljaka i vatrogasaca Zaluke bili u crkvi na misi. U tom požaru izgorjele su 28 kuća, 92 druge zgrade a 156 ljudi je ostalo bez krova nad glavom. Da nije bilo vatrogasaca zbog jakog vjetra izgorjelo bi cijelo selo. Uz vatrogasce Bubnjarca požar su gasili Zaluke, Brihovo, Pravutine, Velika Paka te društva iz Slovenije Metlika, Gradac i Krasinec (sa ručnom štrcaljkom).

The voluntary fire brigade Bubnjarci was founded on May 10, 1925 by the villagers. Already on August 13, the society organizes a ceremony on the occasion of the Conspiracy of the members of the society and invites DVD Karlovac to attend the ceremony in as many numbers as possible and bring its flag to conspire the members of the Society under it. As a leading company in the region, they show their strength on April 13, 1930. in a large fire in the neighboring village of Zaluka, Ribnik municipality, when the house of Jure Belanić's villagers caught fire (probably when the stove was burning) and most of Zaluka's villagers and firefighters were in the church for Mass. The fire burned 28 houses, 92 other buildings and left 156 people homeless. If there were no firefighters due to the strong wind, the whole village would have burned down. Along with the Bubnjarac firefighters, Zaluke, Brihovo, Pravutine, Velika Paka and companies from Slovenia Metlika, Gradac and Krasinec (with a hand syringe) put out the fire.
