Kolekcionar vatrogasnog znakovlja

Dobrovoljno vatrogasno društvo Karlovac osnovano je 10. svibnja 1871. godine, Po osnivanju za prvog Vojvodu (predsjednik) izabran je Ernesto Muhlbauer, mladi poduzetnik. Na početku društvo ima 76 izvršujučih članova145 podupirujučih te 46 utemeljitelja.  Zbog dobrog imovinskog stanja društvo prati razvoj tehnike te redovito kupuje nove sprave (parna štrcaljka 1905., motorne štrcaljke 1920-30., automobile 1929. i dr,).. The Karlovac Voluntary Fire Brigade was founded on May 10, 1871. After its founding, Ernesto Muhlbauer, a young entrepreneur, was elected the first Duke (president). At the beginning, the society had 76 executive members145 supporting and 46 founders. Due to its good financial situation, the company monitors the development of technology and regularly buys new devices (steam syringe in 1905, motor syringes in 1920-30, cars in 1929, etc.).
