U cilju promicanja, razvitka i unapređenja vatrogastva i zaštite od požara u općini Generalski Stol, dana 22. veljače 2008. godine osnovana je Vatrogasna zajednica općine Generalski Stol. U vatrogasnu zajednicu općine Generalski Stol udružena su dobrovoljna vatrogasna društva Generalski Stol i Bukovlje. Zajednica je udružena u Vatrogasnu zajednicu Karlovačke županije. Sjedište Zajednice je Generalski Stol 32, 47262 Generalski Stol
