The first records of the beginning of DVD Budrovac's work go back to the thirties of the twentieth century, when, due to a large fire in which a large part of the town burned down, the interest of the locals to insure their property in this way arose. Local teacher Ivan Periša is remembered as a good firefighter organizer, who wrote the "Society Rules", which were confirmed by the then authorities. So on August 15, 1933. year, for the feast of the Assumption, a founding assembly and a big party were held in the school yard, where 17 members were enrolled in the society. Soon, more members joined the company and a fire truck with a water pump was purchased. The company did not stop working even during the Second World War. Fifty years ago, a "Savica" motor water pump was purchased with a donation from the then agricultural cooperative and voluntary contributions. 1963 land is bought and with the voluntary work and contributions of the locals, a fire station is built, which, with minor adaptations, is still used today. 1979 the tractor tank "Creina" with a capacity of 4,000 liters is purchased, which is still in operation today. Today, the society has about 50 members, of which 12 are youth and young adults.
