Kolekcionar vatrogasnog znakovlja

Dobrovoljno vatrogasno društvo u Gornji Kraljevec osnovano je na poticaj mjesnog učitelja Ivice Kučmanića 1933. godine. O okupljanju inicijatora i ostalih mještana koji su utemeljitelji dobrovoljnog vatrogasnog društva postoji zapis, koji govori o sastanku na kojem će se osnovati dobrovoljno vatrogasno društvo. Tu su redom zapisani: Stjepan Bednjak, Valent Tuksar, Martin Sabolčec, Josip Varga, Ivan Varga, Imbra Leček, Đuro Matoša i učitelj, ujedno i zapisničar Ivan Kučmanić. Ovi Kraljevčani su utemeljitelji vatrogastva u svom mjestu. Na tom dogovoru, kako piše u prvom zapisu o nastanku vatrogastva u mjestu, oni »proglašavaju« sastanak za 29. listopada »na kojem će se osnovati Vatrogasno društvo«. Mjesto Gornji Kraljevec već u 19. stoljeću posjedovalo je ručnu štrcaljku. Razvoj gospodarskih objekata po čemu je Gornji Kraljevec nadaleko poznat u to vrijeme prisiljava gospodare na zaštitu štagljeva od požara, nakon što je na početku 20. stoljeća jedan ozbiljno zaprijetio mjestu i to 1902- godine. U tadašnjem Kraljevcu tada je izgorjelo 17 domaćinstva. Zbog sve veće potrebe za organiziranom zaštitom od požara inicijatori za osnivanje društva 5.11.1933. osnivaju vatrogasno društvo pod nazivom „Dobrovoljno vatrogasno društvo“ Gornji Kraljevec. Nakon što su se upoznali s odredbama Zakona o organizaciji vatrogastva tadašnje države, Kraljevine Jugoslavije, pristupaju izboru uprave i prvih dužnosnika. U upravu je izabrano 9 članova i to: Ivan Kučmanić- predsjednik, Ivan Matoša - blagajnik, Valent Tuksar – tajnik uprave, Josip Varga – tajnik zapovjedništva, Stjepan Bednjak – zapovjednik, Josip Mikić–zamjenik zapovjednika, Josip Ter – spremištar, Martin Sabolčec– predsjednik i Ivan Varga - »djelovođa« Nadzornog odbora. Potom utvrdiše visinu članarine u iznosu od 10 dinara, koja vrijedi za podupirajuće i aktivne članove. Na tom sastanku zapovjedništva u Društvo pristupilo je 6 novih članova: Đuro Horvat, Ivan Tkalec,“ Franjo Varošanec, Mijo Lukačić, Mijo Žganec i Aleks Bednjak. Sukladno tadašnjem Zakonu o organizaciji vatrogastva svi aktivni članovi bili su dužni položiti prisegu, što su i članovi Dobrovoljnog vatrogasnog društva Gornji Kraljevec, na Skupštini 6.siječnja 1934. godine učinili. Prisegu su dali predsjednik i zapovjednik, a potom je predsjednik čitao tekst koji su za njim ponavljali svi članovi. Zbog ugleda društvo utemeljuju se vlastita pravila. U zapisniku od 27. ožujka 1934. godine upisan je zaključak o obveznom prisustvovanju članova vježbama, kao stručnom dijelu osposobljavanja. Odredba ima i obrazloženje koje glasi – tko se tri puta redom ne odazove na vježbu, a » isti nedolazak ne ispriča « isključuje se iz Društva. To je samo jedna od vatrogasnih vrlina glede spremnosti na požrtvovnost i disciplinu onih koji su se opredijelili za vatrogasnu službu i iskazali sklonost za pružanje pomoći svojim susjedima, mještanima, narodu, državi.

The Voluntary Fire Brigade in Gornja Kraljevec was founded at the instigation of the local teacher Ivica Kučmanić in 1933. The town of Gornji Kraljevec already in the 19th century had a hand syringe. The development of farm buildings, for which Gornji Kraljevec is widely known at the time, forced the owners to protect the barns from fire, after one seriously threatened the site at the beginning of the 20th century in 1902. In the then Kraljevo, 17 households burned down. Due to the growing need for organized fire protection, the initiators for the establishment of the company on November 5, 1933. they founded a fire brigade called the "Voluntary Fire Brigade" Gornji Kraljevec. After getting acquainted with the provisions of the Law on the Organization of Firefighting of the then state, the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, they proceeded to the election of the administration and the first officials. 9 members were elected to the administration: Ivan Kučmanić - president, Ivan Matoša - treasurer, Valent Tuksar - secretary of the administration, Josip Varga - secretary of the command, Stjepan Bednjak - commander, Josip Mikić - deputy commander, Josip Ter - storekeeper, Martin Sabolčec– President and Ivan Varga - "manager" of the Supervisory Board. He then determined the amount of the membership fee in the amount of 10 dinars, which is valid for supporting and active members. At that command meeting, 6 new members joined the Society: Đuro Horvat, Ivan Tkalec, “Franjo Varošanec, Mijo Lukačić, Mijo Žganec and Aleks Bednjak. In accordance with the then Law on the Organization of Firefighting, all active members were obliged to take the oath, which the members of the Voluntary Fire Brigade Gornji Kraljevec did at the Assembly on January 6, 1934. The oath was taken by the president and the commander, and then the president read a text that was repeated after him by all the members. Due to the reputation of the company, its own rules are established. In the minutes of March 27, 1934, a conclusion was entered on the obligatory attendance of members of the exercises, as a professional part of the training. The provision also has an explanation which reads - whoever does not respond to the exercise three times in a row, and "does not apologize for the same absence" is excluded from the Society. This is just one of the firefighting virtues regarding the willingness to sacrifice and discipline of those who have opted for the fire service and expressed a willingness to provide assistance to their neighbors, locals, people, state.
