Kolekcionar vatrogasnog znakovlja

Na tadašnjoj Valpovštini prvo dobrovoljno vatrogasno društvo osnovano je u Petrijevcima, a zatim u Valpovu, Bizovcu i Bistrincima, da bi 1927. godine bilo osnovano vatrogasno društvo i u Vinogradcima. Osnivačka skupština, prema sačuvanim dokumentima, održana je 15. kolovoza 1927. godine u prostorijama Vatrogasnog doma u Vinogradcima, kako su ga mještani zvali „straža“, na inicijativu 14 mještana i seoskog kneza Kuzmana Berečića. Podaci kazuju da su, osim nazočnih mještana, skupu prisustvovali i predstavnici tadašnje općine Valpovo Fabijan Blažević i Resen. Tada je izabrano i prvo rukovodstvo DVD Vinogradci: za nadzapovjednika je izabran mještanin Stjepan PAVOŠEVIĆ, za prvog zapovjednika Ivan GALOŠEVIĆ, za zapovjednika Pavo PAVOŠEVIĆ, tajnika Martin PAVOŠEVIĆ, a blagajničko poslovanje povjereno je Kuzmanu PAVOŠEVIĆU. U početku djelovanja, naše Društvo je imalo skromnu vatrogasnu opremu – svega dvoklipnu ručnu vatrogasnu štrcaljku, koju je posjedovao seoski odbor, odnosno selo, pa je bilo prisiljeno zatražiti novčanu pomoć od mještana. Od prikupljenih sredstava kupljena je najneophodnija vatrogasna oprema – 3 sjekirice, prteni opasači, nekoliko tipiziranih šljemova, kudeljne cjevine i kola s buretom, dok su članovi iz vlastitih sredstava kupili vatrogasna odijela. 1935. godine došlo je do smjene rukovodstva i za novog predsjednika izabran je Tomo VIDAKOVIĆ, koji je sve do 1945. godine vršio dužnost zapovjednika DVD Vinogradci. Pod rukovodstvom predsjednika Tome Vidakovića, koji je s pravim entuzijazmom inicirao razvoj Društva, došlo je do omasovljenja članstva, poboljšanja financijske situacije, a izgrađeno je i prvo vatrogasno spremište, tzv. „gasilana“. Od početnih 17 članova, 1935. godine DVD Vinogradci ima preko trideset članova i postaje nositelj kulturnog i društvenog života u selu. Tadašnji izvori prihoda za vatrogasnu djelatnost bili su prihodi organiziranih mjesnih zabava, a veći dio sredstava već tada se trošio na stručno osposobljavanje članova i opremu. Još dvije godine ranije, 1933. godine, tadašnji tajnik Društva Slavko MATIJEVIĆ, učitelj, počeo je sređivati društvenu dokumentaciju, a novim sredstvima dokumentacija je dobila vidno mjesto u našem Društvu i ona je pokazatelj našeg djelovanja i svega što se događalo od osnutka Društva do danas. Od 1945. do 1955. godine funkciju predsjednika obnašao je Nikola GALOŠEVIĆ i u tom vremenu kupljena su prva vatrogasna odijela i osposobljena je prva generacija stručnog kadra, a dobili smo i prvog vatrogasnog oficira GALOŠEVIĆ Stjepana. Dobili smo tada i dva vatrogasna podoficira PETROVIĆ Marjana i VUKOVIĆ Josipa. 1957. godine predsjednik je Adam VUKOVIĆ, a Društvo nabavlja, kao izvor sredstava, vršilicu za potrebe članova, te obnavlja osobnu i vatrogasnu opremu, adaptira vatrogasno spremište u kojem se i 1967. godine nalazi. Sve do 1967. godine DVD Vinogradci nije imalo svoju zastavu. Nakon održane godišnje skupštine i izabranog upravnog i nadzornog odbora, nastavljaju se aktivnosti s većim intenzitetom. Primljeno je 10 novih članova, a održan je i vatrogasni tečaj za sve neispitane članove. 90% domaćinstava uključeno je u Društvo kao podupirajući članovi. Uređeno je vatrogasno spremište, kupljen prvi vatrogasni agregat marke „Tomos“, kojeg Društvo i danas posjeduje, a pod prvom vatrogasnom zastavom zastavničar Stjepan GALOŠEVIĆ mlađi i svi članovi položili su svečanu zakletvu. Tijekom svih tih proteklih godina djelovanja našeg Društva, mnogo pažnje posvećeno je disciplini, radu, usavršavanju, nabavci opreme i nadasve stručnom osposobljavanju kadra. Putem organiziranog vatrogasnog tečaja osposobljeno je 15 novih ispitanih vatrogasaca u dva kompletna odjeljenja, a pod stručnim vodstvom komandira GALOŠEVIĆ Stjepana starijeg održavaju se redovne vatrogasne vježbe. Predsjednik Društva Milan PAVLOVIĆ nabavlja dvije manje limene cisterne kapaciteta 1000 litara vode, a uz pomoć Savjeta Mjesne zajednice sela i učešća od 50% sredstava Vatrogasnog saveza općine, nabavljena je i cisterna za vodu zapremnine 3700 litara. Za trajanja mandata predsjednika Josipa VIDAKOVIĆA i uz pomoć i razumijevanje radnika tadašnjeg „Đure Salaj“ iz Valpova, nabavljena je, za minimalna sredstva, prikolica na koju smo ugradili cisternu. S obzirom da je postojeći agregat dospio u prilično loše stanje, nabavljen je novi tip „Rozenbauer“ u vrijednosti ondašnjih 3.400.000 dinara. Sa 50% sredstava sudjeluje VSO Valpovo, a ostatak sredstava osiguralo je naše Društvo.

In what was then Valpovština, the first voluntary fire brigade was founded in Petrijevci, then in Valpovo, Bizovac and Bistrinci, and in 1927 a fire brigade was also founded in Vinogradci. According to preserved documents, the founding assembly was held on August 15, 1927 in the premises of the Fire Station in Vinogradci, as the locals called it "guard", on the initiative of 14 locals and the village prince Kuzman Berečić. At the beginning of its activity, our Society had modest firefighting equipment - only a two-piston manual fire extinguisher, which was owned by the village committee, that is, the village, so it was forced to ask for financial help from the locals. The most necessary firefighting equipment was purchased from the collected funds - 3 axes, belt buckles, several typed helmets, tow pipes and a wagon with a barrel, while the members bought firefighting suits from their own funds. In 1935, there was a change of management and Tomo VIDAKOVIĆ was elected as the new president, who until 1945 was the commander of DVD Vinogradci. Under the management of the president Toma Vidaković, who initiated the development of the Society with real enthusiasm, the membership increased, the financial situation improved, and the first fire station was built, the so-called "extinguished". From the initial 17 members, in 1935 DVD Vinogradci had over thirty members and became the bearer of cultural and social life in the village. At that time, the sources of income for the fire service were the income from organized local parties, and the greater part of the funds was already spent on professional training of members and equipment. Two years earlier, in 1933, the then secretary of the Society, Slavko MATIJEVIĆ, a teacher, started organizing the company's documentation, and with new means, the documentation gained a prominent place in our Society and it is an indicator of our activities and everything that has happened since the foundation of the Society until today . From 1945 to 1955, the position of president was held by Nikola GALOŠEVIĆ, and during that time the first firemen's suits were bought and the first generation of professional personnel was trained, and we got the first fire officer, Stjepan GALOŠEVIĆ. At that time, we also received two non-commissioned fire officers, Marjan PETROVIĆ and Josip VUKOVIĆ. In 1957, the president was Adam VUKOVIĆ, and the Society procured, as a source of funds, a thresher for the needs of members, and renewed personal and firefighting equipment, and adapted the firehouse where it is still located in 1967. Until 1967, DVD Vinogradci did not have its own flag. After the annual assembly was held and the management and supervisory board was elected, activities continued with greater intensity. 10 new members were accepted, and a firefighting course was held for all untested members. 90% of households are included in the Society as supporting members. The fire department was arranged, the first "Tomos" brand fire engine was purchased, which the Company still owns today, and under the first fire brigade flag, ensign Stjepan GALOŠEVIĆ Jr. and all members took a solemn oath. During all these past years of activity of our company, a lot of attention was devoted to discipline, work, training, equipment acquisition and, above all, professional training of staff. Through the organized firefighting course, 15 newly tested firefighters were trained in two complete departments, and regular firefighting drills are held under the expert guidance of Commander GALOŠEVIĆ Stjepan Sr. The President of the Company Milan PAVLOVIĆ procures two smaller tin tanks with a capacity of 1000 liters of water, and with the help of the Council of the Local Community of the village and the participation of 50% of the funds of the Fire Association of the municipality, a water tank with a capacity of 3700 liters was also procured. During the term of office of President Josip VIDAKOVIĆ and with the help and understanding of the workers of the then "Đure Salaj" from Valpove, a trailer was acquired, for minimal funds, on which we installed a tank. Given that the existing power unit was in a rather bad condition, a new "Rozenbauer" type was purchased, worth 3,400,000 dinars at the time. VSO Valpovo participates with 50% of the funds, and the rest of the funds were provided by our Company.
