Kolekcionar vatrogasnog znakovlja

Osnivanjem pilane u Belišću i puštanjem u pogon 27. studenog 1884. godine osnovana je vatrogasna četa, a što je ujedno početak rada Dobrovoljnog vatrogasnog društva “Belišće”. Tijekom 130 godina postojanja društvo je mijenjalo svoj ustrojstveni oblik, tako je 1949. godine vatrogasna četa prerasla u Industrijsko dobrovoljno vatrogasno društvo. 1968. godine osnovana je Profesionalna postrojba u poduzeću Belišće, a dobrovoljna postrojba za mjesto Belišće. Da bi ustroj bio učinkoviti 1972. godine spajaju se spomenute postrojbe u Industrijsko dobrovoljno vatrogasno društvo. Danas Dobrovoljno vatrogasno društvo “Belišće” djeluje kao središnja vatrogasna postrojba za grad Belišće s područjem odgovornosti s zadaćom zaštite od požara i spašavanje ljudi u nepogodama. Danas ga čine veliki broj članova koji humano, dobrovoljno i marljivo rade i održavaju tradiciju vatrogastva u svojem mjestu. Tijekom 130 godina postojanja Dobrovoljnog vatrogasnog društva Belišće, njegovi članovi na području grada Belišća su gasili brojne požare, te na taj način umanjili štetu koja tada nastaje, a u današnje vrijeme hvataju se u koštac s modernom tehnologijom i industrijom, te nastoje pratiti njihov razvoj u zaštiti od požara. Katastrofalni požari su bili: Tvornica drvene vune – 1960., Destilacija – 1970., Energana – 1980., Upravna zgrada “Palej” – 1992. i “Golubinjak” – 2008 i drugi.

With the founding of the sawmill in Belišće and its commissioning on November 27, 1884, a fire company was established, which was also the beginning of the work of the "Belišće" Voluntary Fire Company. During its 130 years of existence, the company changed its organizational form, so in 1949, the fire company grew into the Industrial Voluntary Fire Company. In 1968, a professional unit was founded in the company Belišće, and a volunteer unit for the town of Belišće. In order for the organization to be effective, in 1972 the aforementioned units were merged into the Industrial Voluntary Fire Company. Today, the Voluntary Fire Company "Belišće" acts as the central fire department for the city of Belišće, with an area of responsibility with the task of fire protection and rescuing people in disasters. Today, it consists of a large number of members who work humanely, voluntarily and diligently and maintain the tradition of firefighting in their locality. During the 130 years of existence of the Belišće Voluntary Fire Brigade, its members have extinguished numerous fires in the area of the city of Belišće, and in that way reduced the damage that then occurs, and nowadays they are grappling with modern technology and industry, and strive to follow their development in protection from fire. Catastrophic fires were: Wood wool factory - 1960, Distillation - 1970, Energana - 1980, Administrative building "Palej" - 1992 and "Golubinjak" - 2008 and others.
