Kolekcionar vatrogasnog znakovlja

Dobrovoljno vatrogasno društvo Kneginec Gornji utemeljeno je 17.02.1924. godine sa svrhom obrane od vatrene stihije, ali i kao svojevrsno stjecište cjelokupnog kulturnog i zabavnog života u selu. Kroz godine rada društvo je uz svoje iskrene entuzijaste čvrsto stalo na noge i od velike je pomoći mještanima Općine Gornji Kneginec. Društvo je udruženo u VZO Gornji Kneginec u kojem djeluju još tri članice. Prema procjeni ugroženosti i planu zaštite od požara za Općinu Gornji Kneginec koji je donesen 1999. godine, DVD Kneginec Gornji određeno je kao središnje društvo sa djelovanjem na cijelom području Općine Gornji Kneginec koje iznosi 22,34 km2 (što je 1,77 % od ukupnog prostora Županije).

Through the years of work, the company, along with its sincere enthusiasts, has firmly stood on its feet and is of great help to the inhabitants of the Municipality of Gornji Kneginec. The company is united in VZO Gornji Kneginec, in which three other members operate.
