DVD VINICA
Dobrovoljno vatrogasno društvo u Vinici osnovano je 27. siječnja 1889. godine. Odmah je započelo s radom vatrogasnom ručnom špricom, u koju se voda morala nalijevati, da bi se iz nje mogla pumpati u garište (riječ je o poklonu grofa Marka Bombelesa, pokrovitelja društva, prilikom osnivanja). Iz statističkih podataka popisa društva i vatrogasnih sprava od 12.veljače 1938.g. Vatrogasne župe Varaždin, doznajemo da DVD Vinica po broju članova malo zaostaje za DVD Varaždin, da članovi od početka imaju društvene odore, liječnika, barjak, sprave, tamburaški orkestar, limenu glazbu i pjevačko društvo. Društvene knjige vode uredno i točno, te služe za primjer ostalim društvima. Jedno su od najstarijih u županiji i jedno od najstarijih seoskih vatrogasnih društava. Vatrogastvo u Vinici tradicija je koja se prenosi sa koljena na koljeno. Povijesni trenutak za Viničko vatrogastvo dogodio se 15. kolovoza 1937.g.. Naime, tada zpovjednik DVD-a Vinica, Marijan Dolanski, vodi vatrogasce Vatrogasne župe Varaždin, Jelačić Placom u Zagrebu i traži odcjepljenje od vatrogasnog saveza Kraljevine Jugoslavije.
The Voluntary Fire Brigade in Vinica was founded on January 27, 1889. It immediately started working with a firefighting hand syringe, into which water had to be poured in order to be pumped into the fire pit (it was a gift from Count Mark Bombeles, the company's patron, at the time of its founding). From the statistical data of the census of the company and fire brigades from February 12, 1938. Firefighting in Vinica is a tradition that is passed down from generation to generation. The historic moment for the Vinica Fire Brigade occurred on August 15, 1937. Namely, the then commander of the DVD Vinica, Marijan Dolanski, led the firefighters of the Varaždin Fire Brigade, Jelačić Placom in Zagreb and demanded secession from the Fire Brigade of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.
